The Pock 7s on Good Friday has been confirmed as a qualifying tournament for the England Rugby Sevens Series.

England Rugby has announced this week that the high octane, England Rugby Sevens Series is back for 2020 and open for all community clubs and new and existing sevens teams to enter, to be in with the chance to be crowned the best men’s and women’s teams in England.

The Sevens Series will kick start a busy summer of sevens activity ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics which both the England Rugby men and women’s Sevens teams have successfully qualified for. And the Good Friday Pock 7s will be the first qualifying tournament in the series that culminates in the national finals at Nottingham in July.

Anyone can enter the Sevens Series, with social teams including groups of friends also encouraged to join in. Teams can now enter at over thirty-seven local qualifying tournaments where they will compete and collect series points depending on their match results. The more collected the more chance a team will have of progressing to the national final.
